Suffolk Chamber members – 4th quarter business survey
The economy is in a state of real stress at the moment - and it is businesses that are on the front line of the key issues of escalating costs and prices, excessive and unfair taxation systems, labour shortages and supply chain uncertainties.
Suffolk Chamber's latest Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) aims to capture the reality of your trading conditions and future prospects - and use it to lobby even harder for pro-business policies from both national and local government bodies.
The results of our quarter 3 QES showed the worst set of figures since the start of the COVID19 pandemic in the second quarter of 2020.
We have used this intelligence in face-to-face meetings with both Suffolk's MPs and senior local authority leaders. By contributing to the British Chambers of Commerce figures, Suffolk's QES has been used to land clear messages to the Government to loosen the overall tax burden on companies and ensure that the reform of business rates remains on the agenda.
We'd be grateful if you could once again take the few minutes needed to complete the survey, so that the voice of our Suffolk members is clearly and unambiguously understood.
